This week consisted of several long days while my husband prepared for his time in the field. So I did what I do best: Played with my kids (who are both currently obsessed with LEGOs and Mega Bloks) and cooked wholesome meals. I even took a stab at homemade, dairy-free Nutella (which is, by the way, dee-licious!). I have been brainstorming some creative sessions, so stay tuned for next week's post, which may have some photo clues about the next stylized session. ;)
Be sure to check out the next talented photographer in our blog circle, Melissa of Sweetgrass Moments!
So this Project 365 got off to an interesting start! After realizing that my camera was exhausted from our two weeks of travel and only sporadic charging, I found myself using a point and shoot camera for the first few days. I remembered how to use the manual settings, thank goodness!
We had a pretty slow week. I've been on a green smoothie health kick for the past couple of 1weeks (10 pounds down, woo hoo!), Lils ate her first solid food without choking, and Alex is obsessed with shapes (hence the round railroad tracks). No exciting fireworks photos here (both of the kiddos are too young to fully appreciate them), but we did manage to squeeze in an impromptu family shoot this evening. July is shaping up to be a nice, relaxing month for the Urrutia clan.
